I’m well aware I’ve just done a beauty testing post that was packed with enough goodies to last your stash a few months, but I also kinda fell into Boots and Space NK after some internet enabling and did a bit of spending – oops, sorry Monzo card.

But truthfully I don’t fall for products that often, it’s usually a lot of careful research and testing to see if the products fit into my routine, yet these all fell straight in my hands and it was instantly love – helps a lot that they’re all vegan and cruelty-free, a huge plus for me when buying beauty these days.

One of the biggest Insta-hypes is the launch of Jules’ Isle of Paradise tan range – I didn’t catch on straight away because I wasn’t sure of their vegan/cruelty-free status but since scrolling through their feed and website I was so pleased to see a product all my pals and fave bloggers were talking about was ticking all the boxes in the beauty department. I opted for the Medium Drops as Anna had used Dark and said she found it very dark and my pal Klaudia had recommended the Medium Mousse, and drops for me felt easiest as I moisturise every evening and want to control the depth of tan.

So much rocks about this product, from being able to tailor the depth of tan to what your comfortable with and being able to mix it with product you use daily, to the colour correcting pigments that help the tan blend and appear natural – the Medium range has a green tone which helps redness and is perfect for those with blemish pigmentation and need to knock back the marks whilst getting the glow on too 😉

I will say you still need a mitt using this product, as there is still some funky Ross-like tan lines on my hands even after washing with scrub for days, but it applies so evenly, dries quickly, and doesn’t smell biscuity (although I do like the smell of fake tan, adds to the list along with petrol and fresh bread) – for a completely lazy tanner like myself, it’s an effortless dream and I’ll probably get the water come summer when my harder to reach areas require some oomph.

I mentioned in my previous beauty post that I was trialling the Verso serum, however I’m been loving and leaning towards the Day and Night Retinol Creams more regularly as they’ve shown the most skin improvement – I got these two minis from their travel kit*, and whilst the full-size price makes me wince a little, it’s worth it; the Night Cream in particular is a fave, as it dried up and reduced the redness from a lot of my breakouts, and by morning my skin is looking smoother and clearer, and spots that have popped are pootling off faster and those under the skin aren’t as painful, which is great come my dermatologist appointments!

Verso’s retinol is formulated to be a low amount that won’t irritate skin, but gives more noticeable and effective results in a shorter time, and if you’re already using some low level retinoids then this is a great step up for your one-stop fix – just save up your N.dulge points first 😉

Finally another Space NK find from my faves IGK, and I had been mulling this purchase over for a while as I don’t like feeling product in my scalp or my hair feeling too powdery, but needing something more hardworking than my beloved Jet Lag. My hair gets greasy after 2-3 days and Jet Lag just doesn’t cut it enough without using half a can, so I decided to try First Class – a deep cleansing charcoal based product that absorbs every last bit of oil and gives you added volume too which is great for dirty hair days and needing a bit of extra help in the styling department.

There’s only a slight bit of white residue if you spray too close to the hair, but this is practically on par with Jet Lag in terms of invisibility, and it really does absorb the grime and give you some poof – I’d only use it on a hair-washing day as it feels like a lot of product in my scalp to go to sleep with, but I have found a little spritz at the top of the crown on Day 2 helps give it some lift without feeling overly dry shampoo-y if you get me, and is definitely the most multi-tasking and results driven dry shampoo from the range for me – fine hair greasy scalp gals, this one is for you!

Sorry not sorry for my Friday enabling (maybe have a scroll or shop on your lunch break, I won’t judge you) but with the promise of a glorious tan and lush volumised hair even on Day 5 at a push, then you won’t regret buying any of these beauty musts – just don’t tell my Monzo card okay?
