I’ve been a fan of bags that fit only and all the essentials since practically breaking my back (and straps) with heavily weighted school bags – anyone else buy those huge bags from Primark that could literally fit the kitchen sink in? Or at least 20 textbooks? #badposture
Since then, I’ve downsized as best as I can in my everyday (with exception for my camera bag – it’s a big’un but still very stylish) and have been toying with something more suitable for times I just want my phone, purse, and maybe a lipstick on hand, that doesn’t feel in the way yet looks really nice with my mainly blue wardrobe. There is some more pink creeping in there though, and what better excuse than a LPB – Little Pink Bag of course…
This particular beauty is from Radley London’s Grayfriars Gardens collection and as soon as I saw the Lolly Pink I knew it was the one – perfect size, a bright pop of colour amongst my wardrobe, and even better, a dinky size!
I’ve been wearing it everywhere since, even surviving a terrifying experience on dune buggies in Croatia, and of course matching my nails now and then 😉 Even as a small bag, it does surprisingly fit a lot – this gal likes to pack sanitiser and a film camera in when she can – and the quality of leather is on par with my other high end purchases. It’s also got a lot of compliments, so I think it’s fair to say pink makes everyone wink (and want to buy it asap).
Downsizing may be my best decisions yet…
