I’m currently rush-typing this the day of posting because it has been too hot to go out and do outfit photos (myself and my mum were sweating more than the acceptable amount even after 10 minutes of photo taking, yeesh) and I spent the rest of the evening trying to make my fake tan dry down so I could sit in comfort and not stand like a scarecrow – party prep problems amiright?

But all that aside, I’ve been wanting to share a few of my latest purchases from Matt and Nat, a vegan bag company that has also branched into shoes since the last time I surfed their website. I wanted to pick up some things years ago but after I spotted an ad on Instagram (one actually relevant for once!) for one of their bags, I was intigued to see what they were up to.

The bag they were advertising was called ‘Hope‘, a black vegan leather circle with 100% recycyled bottle lining, that gives 100% of it’s purchase price to one of seven charities of the buyers choice, which to be honest is fantastic. Not only is the bag a great size to fit purse, phone, small camera and more in, it’s only £50 which I think is an absolute bargain for what you are donating too and the production that has gone into creating a stylish non-leather bag working with sustainable factories and materials.

One thing led to another of course and I soon found myself on the shoe section, and I honestly have no decent heels, in any colour I can actually wear with clothes, so when I spotted this half-practical half-stylish blue pair I was ‘adding to basket’ quicker than anything….and also popping in the black pair too, because practical for all occassions right?

I don’t shop often, and by the looks of my wardrobe I do need to pick some clothes up because I’m a little restrcited atm (perfect excuse) but I’m so glad I dropped a bit of extra dolla’ for not only a great cause, but also some fabulous sustainable and animal-friendly pieces I know are going to fit into my wardrobe for years to come.

On a little side note, tonight is the Blogosphere Blog Awards which I’m simultaneously crapping myself over and excited for, so I’ll be spending the day trying not to overheat in my black dress and trying to tone down my fake tan – I’m so thankful for everyone who voted and nominated, and I *hope* tonight goes well regardless of the outcome.

Hey, at least my bag and shoes will look good right? 😉
