There aren’t many sentences you get to say in life, ‘I’m going to the BAFTAs‘ is one of them. As a huge BAFTA fan, always chilling in front of the sofa for each annual Film and TV ceremony for a new round of host humour, I was ecstatic/nervously freaking out to be attending myself for the whole live ceremony with House of Fraser – but any chance to wear a fabulous fancy frock is fine by me!

As it was a last minute thing, I had to quickly scout the House of Fraser website for suitable attire and settled on this Untold Mesh Cut Out Gown* which I have to say is a gorgeous cut with lovely lovely detail, although in nearly 30 degree weather on Sunday and at least 4 layers of fabric making up the dress it’s safe to say I was melting on the red carpet. No regrets though, but that can’t be said for the blisters.

Being the practical lady I am, I packed all the essentials (4 snack bars and a backup charger) in my Kate Spade Cedar Street Masie Bag which matched perfectly with a pair of Lavender Grey Kurt Geiger Shoes which conveniently can’t be seen because maxi dress on a 5ft3 frame means you’ll still be draping the floor #shortieprobz.

A massive thanks to House of Fraser and Mediaworks for inviting me along, and letting be in the same room as Tom Hiddleston and Justin Timberlake *all the heart eye emojis*

Did you watch the BAFTAS this year? Have you checked out the #SlowGlam range at House of Fraser? How are we feeling about this dress?

Lots of Love,
Lauren x
