ICYMI, I did some pretty big hauling in Paperchase recently (see video below) and it’s all because of the recent New Season Theme Room + Get Organised Blog Event I attended a few weeks ago. Paperchase already stocks some amazing pieces of stationery, but this season they’ve gone up one and brought in new brands and designs that have got me super excited (and satisfy every stationery lover’s dream).
There were several different themes in including American Beauty, Neon Pop and Under My Umbrella (available online and in-store at Tottenham Court Road) and the celebrations range was also a fabulous mix of fun and classic design, lots of bold colours mixed with muted pastels yet all very current – can I get a big YES for photobooth props and bunting?!
Two of my favourites included the designs from Talking Tables and Hello Sweetie – TT have an amazing Coastal collection which has my heart beating thanks to all the blue, and Hello Sweetie have some of the cutest designs for spring parties you’ll just want to use them forever. I have to also big up the introduction of Ban.do and American Crafts in my life – the sleek designs are spot on and fave the best range of stickers and cute crafts you will want to use in all your notepads and areas of life – you’ve been warned.
But back to the event at hand – once our tour around the new designs was done, we got down to some fun crafts whilst learning the importance of planners. Now, I thought myself to be a big planner enthusiast (although my social life wouldn’t reflect well in the empty pages sometimes SOB) but this was nothing compared to what Anna had planned (sorry) for us. Out came three amazingly packed planners, brimmed with designs, add-ins, pockets, stickers, colour and even changeable themes – it’s enough to make you want to live your life around planner designing let me tell you.
We began to transform our Paperchase planners into individual works of art, laminating dashboards (these exist and I need more) and making pockets for receipts and very important papers, before decorating the heck out of them with washi tape, paperclips and little stickers that honestly got me so excited to try harder with making my diary a fun thing to fill!
Of course, I went for as near a blue theme as I could, popping in some marble, grey, graphic prints and even my exclusive Blogger card from Paperchase which is incentive enough to buy more planning pieces. The evening was fabulous to get creative and discover a whole new world of planning, and as you’ll see in the video I’ve since picked up more to make my diary life that little bit more exciting and heck more organised.
Now I know all us bloggers adore stationery so I’d love to hear your thoughts – Are you a planning fanatic? Have you bought anything from Paperchase’s new range? How do you stay organised with tasks?
Lots of Love
