Food is one of my biggest loves; I’m always asking what’s for dinner, making sure we have my fave food in stock and generally fawning over menus. Many times now, I’ve been asked by people turning vegan or plant-based what I eat, and to be honest I always stumble – it’s harder I find during the winter, but with Spring in swing (sorry) I thought it would be a great time to show you what I pick up for a weekly shop whilst eating plant-based and enjoying all that grub to the max.
There’s a big emphasis on protein and zinc, great for keeping skin in check and your muscles strong, plus a lot (a lot) of greens – spinach is my fave and always will be.
