95% of my day is spent standing or sitting at a desk, tapping away editing posts or photos for the blog and YouTube channel, and it’s that 95% of the time I like to feel comfortable but also a bit more human – what I’m trying to say is that although I don’t want to sit in a full face of makeup, I still want to feel pretty aka not scare the postman on a regular occasion.

I have a few key go-to essential beauty picks on my desktop that always make me feel a bit more done whilst keeping my skin in check, whether that’s moisturised hands or tackling a spot, there’s definitely a space for your beauty products at your desk.

How your skin looks can really impact your mood, and for that extra boost of colour and glow I always enjoy using the Nourish Illuminating Skin Shimmer* – it’s perfect for no-makeup-makeup days as it evens out the complexion, adds an amazing golden glow and helps your skin rather than clogging up the pores thanks to the vegan friendly natural ingredients. Make your working from home face look 100x more alive with one swift pump of this gorgeousness.

If I am having a spotty moment, keeping my hands away is the biggest challenge so I’ve been keeping the Australian Bodycare Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Blemish Stick* at arms reach to regularly apply to any blemished areas. Tea Tree and Witch Hazel are both amazing natural anti-inflammatory products so regular application keeps the bacteria down and your hands off – win win!

You’ve probably heard me mention that I love a bold lip to make me feel a bit more woah but lipstick isn’t always appropriate or, in reality, I cba to attempt the whole process of blotting and lining when I won’t be leaving my desk. My current life-saver that gives both amazing nourishment and a pop of colour is Dr PawPaw Tinted Peach Pink Balm* – I’m a big fan of Manuka honey and natural balm products for keeping my lips soft all year long, they work so well and the addition of colour really perks up the complexion so you can work away feeling super fancy.

Typing away and being busy with your hands means they go through a lot of wear and tear, so it’s important to keep them moisturised and strong, and I’m definitely one for slathering mine in hand cream every hour or so. This Urtekram Aloe Vera Hand Cream* has been a real surprise product for me, I wasn’t expecting to be as impressed as I have been but the smell is so fresh and being a vegan friendly product means all the ingredients work to nourish and repair your hands as they so wish to be. Hand cream, always essential.

What are your desktop beauty essentials? Do you like to have no-makeup-makeup days? How are you spending your time at the desk today?

Lots of Love
