Hellooooo everyone!

As soon as October rolls around, I will do anything  to don my warmer clothes. From walking around town in a beanie and a jumper whilst it’s 16 degrees outside (a fashionable mistake), to pairing my long black boots with all my jeans and tights, I am just dying for crisp, bright days to set in.

Whilst we experience some warmer weather than usual – curses to my jumper plans – I’m still changing my outfits up to reflect warmer tones and autumnal colours, whilst just sneaking in a warm piece here or there.

Blazer – Urban Outfitters (see similar) | Striped Top – H&M (see similar) | Skirt – H&M | Scarf – TK Maxx (see similar) | Boots – Clarks via TK Maxx (see similar)

I’ve found myself to be one of those people who, although I wear a lot of simple pieces, I cannot pull off all-black in the day time, nor can I do the schoolgirl monochrome vibe; I just need colour in my outfit somewhere. The times when I want to pair my Breton top with this skirt, I just have to chuck on a grey or deep plum shade to add some more shazam or something like that to the palette so I feel a bit normal again.

Until we get some more crisp days, you’ll see me rocking this sort of look daily (with the odd sneaky jumper out of the sheer willing for coat weather) and embracing the deep plums and reds so I can feel all snuggly and warm this season errrrr’yday – must stop using the italics so often – and hopefully, you will too.

Are you ready for Autumn weather?  Have you cracked out the jumpers yet? What’s your favourite autumn shade to dress up in?

Lots of Love,

Lauren x
