| All my favourite products from the month of April |
I could easily insert the cliche “how is it May already ?” or the classic JT “today, it’s gonna be May” but I’m going to go for the ol’favourite HELLOOO EVERYONE !
The start of a new month calls for a favourites post and mine has been one of new discoveries, from beauty to tea, boxsets and brushes.
Firstly, some carry-on favourites from the past including the Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask. This mask has been my hero product for saving my skin, keeping it clear, refreshed and detoxed from all the effects of life. If only there was an actual face mask to detox your life, 10 minutes and we’d all be good to go. Next, the SJP Lovely Perfume which I ‘borrowed’ off my mum many moons ago because it smelt so, well, lovely. It’s a perfect spring compliment and makes me feel all fresh and floral. Talking of floral, and SJP, how pink and pretty is this Sex and the City Boxset ?! This was one of my birthday presents from my fam and I’m now nearly halfway through the final season – I’m an addict, someone pass me a Cosmopolitan and some Manolo’s !
More birthday presents include the amazing Urban Decay NAKED Palette, which is swiftly replacing my MAC Pro Palette. The range of colours is amazing, and I’m constantly trying new combos of the shades as this palette really works for my skintone and eye-colour. Another revolution to my routine are the Real Techniques Brushes which are worth the hype; soft, great for blending and really strong – some brushes I’ve used lose their hairs easily or are dyed and scratchy, but these are perfect !
I love menthol smells, I love my hair feeling squeaky clean and nourished, so I was so happy to find the perfect combo in the Fudge Haircare Daily Mint Detox Shampoo and Conditioner. My scalp feels tingly and fresh every time I use it, and it smells glorious ! I’ve just picked up the Torture Tonic Conditioner to see how it does for rescuing my bleached ends, but so far, it smells amazing and feels so soft.
I like a deal on my food, and especially a fancy tea, so ‘when in Rome’ I picked up these two Pukka Tea boxes in Lemon and Mandarin and Lemon, Ginger and Manuka Honey. The latter is my favourite as the honey is really soothing, especially with my little tickly cough this week, and you can feel it just rescue your throat, divine.
I’ve got some high hopes for new favourites this month, and I look forward to some exciting adventures too !
What are your monthly faves, and do you like sound of these products ?
Lots of Love,
