I’ve felt like a real jet setter this month - okay I’ve been away once to Ibiza but I went by myself and it was a big deal and along with Mexico that’s more holidays in one year so far than I can remember, but a jet setter I feel nonetheless.
Apt is it would be, this month’s Look Fantastic Beauty Box is focused on the jet setter in all of us and it seriously covers all ground for a trip away to the sunshine - whether it’s Devon or Dubrovnik you’ve got enough beauty bits to keep you covered.
I had actually spotted the Tan Organic Dry Oil online a while ago and was intrigued at how the natural and organic properties would compare to some high street versions, so I’m so glad I’ve got a little bottle to try out and keep my Ibiza glow topped up for longer! Free of chemicals and made from the most skin and Earth friendly ingreds, this is definitely one for the skin conscious ladies!
My teeth have changed a lot over the last few years and along with braces, something else I’d like to do is have my smile whitened. A few years ago I saw bloggers and celebs talk about Mr Blanc. Whitening Strips so I’m keen to give them a go - who knows, maybe I’ll save a few pounds and be converted to these little strips, and maybe with my tan they’ll look whiter than ever - result!
Remember when I said I cried in the airport because of my liquids limit? Korres Basil and Lemon Body Wash was one of the products I had to sadly give away SOB because it was too big in the darn sandwich bag of doom, and I’m so bummed not have been able to test it fully and get the zesty lemon smell all up in my armpits for a post-suntan scrub. That being said, I know as a brand Korres rocks - their Cinnamon and Vanilla is my fave in winter - and being derived from a majority of natural ingredients this is one handy tester in your wash bag. If it gets through security that is.
Speaking of natural ingredients, Naobay's Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser is made up of 98% goodness including Rosehip and Sweet Almond oils which calms down any irritation especially after a day in the sun, and it has the Eco Cert logo which means it's perfect for anyone who prefers organic products in their beauty cupboard!
For a bit of illumination and reduced puffiness (but you're on holiday, you're relaxing right?) then Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream is right up your street; blended with copper, silver and iridescent pearlisers to help liven any dark shadows plus Resveratrol-Oleyl helps firm and lift which is great if you're squinting in the sun (although that would be naughty, get your sunglasses out guys!)
Cowshed is one of my favourite fun brands - hilarious product names, amazingly blended smells and even a spa in Selfridges which I’m dying to try - so their handy, ahem, hand cream from the Cow Pat range is so good for someone constantly moisturising their hands. The mix of coriander and grapefruit is super refreshing, ironic considering the name, and is the perfect balance to nourish your hands yet not feel too thick and greasy.
Finally we have Spa Magik BB Cream, infused with Dead Sea Minerals and Vitamin E which hydrates and radiates your gorgeous glow (either faux or sun-kissed) whether you need coverage by the pool or a little sprucing up in the evening - it's also said to adapt to your natural skin-tone so hooray for consistent base across your developing tan!
If you like the sound of these products and are thinking, hey I’d love to try that, then you’re in luck - I have one #LFJETSETTER box to giveaway!
