It's that time again where I chat through the new Beauty Boxes of the month, and April certainly delivered on the 'perfect for travel and making me look fabulous' front - it's like they knew I was going on holiday!
Let's start with Look Fantastic*, who are focusing on spring and Earth Day (which was last Friday) with their latest collection of goodies. Every area of beauty is covered with the Briogeo Don't Dispair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask looking like a saviour for sun-frazzled locks, the Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish which is great to pack in your wash bag for holidays and encouraging an even tan, as is the TanWorks Tan Maintainer which will prolong your sun or faux induced glow even longer, and the Bloom and Blossom Bath and Shower Gel which is 99% organic and natural so thumbs up here!
It's always important to treat your hands too so the Rituals Ginseng and Gingko Skin Softening Hand Scrub gives you a cleansing exfoliation that can be nourished with care by Elemis British Botanical Hand and Nail Butter - it smells like a dream, you'll have used it within a week TRUST ME. Finally we have the added bonus of MyVitamins Lemon Flavour Effervescent which give you a needed energy boost (I can tell you, jet lag will not be a thing with these babies) and also another issue of Elle Magazine which has been keeping me good company on the beaches of Cancun (sorry).
Love Me Beauty* always surprises me with their boxes as the range of brands they stock each month changes but is so varied also. Not only have they revamped their boxes into handy travel bags (saviours) but they again seemed to have read my mind on the minis front! I'm a huge fan of balms so Dr Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips has been a welcome nourisher and protecter against chapped chops and sun damage, and I always dislike taking more product than I need on holiday so the Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil is the perfect size for any trip along with their Vinoperfect Radiance Serum which helps keep the complexion even and calm against age-spots, scars and sun-damage - straight into my holiday bag!
A few new brands now and I've seen/lusted over Make Up Forever for a while now after my friend picked up some eyeshadows, so I'm interested to see how the High Definition Powder and Precision Lash Mascara turn out - I do think the powder will be passed on as I'm quite dry and powder tends to cling, but we shall see and it's again the perfect travel-friendly size. Another newbie is Renu Lip and Eye Active Lift which is said to promote collagen and fight fatigue using natural ingredients including yams (always makes me think of SATC 2), and again is also fab for UV damage. Not ones to miss an extra goodie, there's even a little beauty blender sponge to pop alongside my makeup - I'm still yet to venture into blenders but I shall report back when I've mustered the courage.
Another month of beauty goodies and fabulously packed boxes - will you be signing up to either of these? Have you got travel sized favourites? Are you a fan of beauty blender sponges?
Lots of Love,
